1. Introduction & Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how the developer ("Developer," "we," "us," or "our") of Arnold - Gold Tycoon ("Bot," "Service") collects, uses, and shares information about you ("User," "you," "your") when you use our Service.
Your privacy is important to us. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information necessary to provide and improve the Service. The information we collect is strictly limited to what is required for the Bot's core functionality.
2.1. Information Collected Automatically via Discord API:
When you use the Bot, we automatically collect certain information provided by the Discord API:
- User ID: Your unique Discord ID is used as the primary identifier for your game data (e.g., your inventory, gold, and progress).
- Guild ID: The ID of the Discord server (Guild) where the Bot is used. This is used to store Guild-specific settings and data.
- Channel ID: The ID of the channel where a command is executed, used for replying to commands and context-specific functions.
- Usernames/Nicknames: We may store your Discord username or Guild nickname to display on leaderboards or in-game messages. This data is regularly synced to reflect any changes you make.
2.2. Information You Provide to Us:
- Command Inputs: We process the content of the commands you send to the Bot. We do not store the full message content of every command; we only parse it to execute the requested action.
- Game Data: We store all data related to your in-game activity, such as your balance of Virtual Items, game statistics, achievements, and timestamps of actions. This is essential for the game to function.
2.3. Information We DO NOT Collect:
We explicitly do not collect or store:
- Your email address, password, or any other Discord account credentials.
- Any messages in a Guild that are not direct commands to the Bot.
- Any personally identifiable information (PII) beyond your Discord IDs and usernames, which are pseudonymous by nature.
